MUSIC SIGNPOSTS ON THE WEB'S LONELY ROAD

I guess it depends on your taste. This is a MAJOR plug for a great little website that some of you may know about - lala.com

You trade CDs you don't want w/ CDs you DO want. Get rid of all the crap you don't listen to and get something you really want. I have a lot of crap I don't listen to anymore so it's a good trade off.

The catch? It costs you a buck per CD you get. Trade one, you get one. You DON'T get to pick what you're shipped. Make a list of stuff you REALLY want and you'll get something you REALLY want - eventually. You just make a list of stuff you want and stuff is sent to you randomly from your list. You also pay about a buck for shipping. It's pretty easy and awesome. Also, it all through snail mail so it takes time if you're in California (or Hawaii) and you're getting something from someone in Maine. They hook you up w/ envelopes and such. Let me know if you want more details...or just check out the damn website for yourself. lala.com. I think it's only an "in the states" thing right now.

Here's what I have "traded" already. Keep in mind, I NEVER listen to the stuff I traded (even if you think it's good).

Traded - Catch 22, Aqua, Michael Brecker, Incubus, Public Enemy (two copies of New Whirl Order), Huntingtons, John Lee Hooker, BB King

Got - Blackstar, Aqualung, Hourly Radio, Sunny Day Real Estate, Kraftwerk, Rise Against...
