Top 26 Albums of '06

Here are my picks for favorite albums of '06. Of course, this is just a sampling of all of the great music that came out this year. Tapes 'n Tapes is #1 this year even though "The Loon" came out last year. I saw them at SXSW, really dug their stuff, bought their CD at Kim's in NYC for $16.99 (something I rarely do for that much $$$) and bam! They're #1 this year in my book. They also celebrated their XL signing by reissuing "The Loon." I guess in the end, it counts.
