Where Do You Go to Get Your Music Fix?

Posted about 1 year ago

Besides MOG of course, where else on the web do you go to to get your music fix? Are there breaking music news sites or favorites you check regularly (or in some cases, hourly)? Of course there are the usual suspects, but I'm curious where you go? I need to update my bookmarks (and delete those spots that just aren't relevant anymore). Some of these I haven't visited in ages. Comments? Thoughts? Additions?

I think I do not spend enough time doing this sort of thing. When it comes to a music fix I always seem to get it at the music stores I frequent. I guess I am a little old school

NPR.ORG all the way!  I subscribe to their "Song of the Day" and also frequent their "Second Stage" and "All Songs Considered."  There are some great finds, especially recordings of concerts in full.  Cheers!

Thanks for the tips.  Especially rcdlbl.com - I remember hearing about that on WNYC Soundcheck, another good place to find out about music stuff - that's where I found out about MOG.

Nella - NPR is great - I am behind on the All Songs Considered podcast but I'll get to it someday I'm sure.

Rawk - I like to have a vibe on something before I buy it.  If I can hear a review or check out a website before taking the plunge, I feel much better.  Case and point - The Gaslight Anthem - great record, thank you!
