...I've been paying (not with actual cold hard cash) closer attention to music in movies, not so much the score or the soundtrack per say, but the music that plays in the movie. The end credits is a great place to track down those songs. A great example is the film, "Gone Baby Gone". Affleck directs, produces, acts, etc. in it. Well, Nic Harcourt was the music supervisor and when I realized that I really dug the end credit song, I 8x it to the song rundown and discovered a new favorite - Alexi Murdoch. He is a cross between Damien Jurardo and Nick Drake - straight up SS. Good stuff, even for an SS.
