Live music in DC (and sometimes in our cheaper, stepsister city B'more) is prolific and accessible. With so many to choose from, how does one decide which shows are worth leaving the apartment to see? Since lists are the only way to make sense of the world, I have made one chronicling my favorite shows of 2005 (list reprinted here).I should note that I am generally budget conscious about which shows I attend; my rule of thumb is nothing over 15 bucks.
