Also, I went to Machine Project on Valentine's Day and saw PremaSoul. They were fantastic jazz-indian soul fusion. The venue was packed and most of the crowd (including myself) had never heard their music before. After their second set, people swarmed them for cds. check out their myspace.

Tonight I saw Army Navy and Local Natives at a free show (presented by The Fold) at the Silverlake Lounge. I'd never heard of them, but Local Natives are a big draw here in LA and had people dancing. Lots of energy.
