My favorite Mogwai song, hands down, is "Friend of the Night." I was doing homework the first time I listened to my copy of Mr. Beast, and something about the track made me stop everything. I just sat there and listened, which doesn't happen to me very often, as I'm a very accomplished multi-tasker. But the song is so beautiful, and there's something so uplifting and heartbreakingly sad about it, all at once. I was very moved.I never would have guessed that they could make a video that would express that and do the song any justice at all. I was wrong.

mog and mogwai, coincedence, i think not! what an interesting video, raises more questions than it answers, i wonder what it all means. somehow, i knew we would be seeing more of the onion girl before the song was over, i bet she's still cutting those things up, she had alot of onions.
