Well, my Mog-O-Matic is completely on the fritz, so my list of songs I've been playing is largely inaccurate. My actual playlists consists of new stuff by Ted Leo, Deerhoof, The Ponys, Sea Wolf (Alex Church from Irving's new band), The Western States Motel and Menomena.There's a bunch of exciting stuff coming out Tuesday, namely the aforementioned Deerhoof and Menomena, plus The Shins and Of Montreal. I feel like I've been waiting forever, and luckily I have no classes on Tuesday until 6:30 so I'll have the whole day to listen and enjoy/critique. 
The most exciting music related news, however, is that I am now the proud owner of a mandolin, which I'm teaching myself to play. There's a website called folkofthewood.com that gives online lessons, and I'm working my way through them. Soon I'll be able to jam with my boyfriend (a banjo player) and his roommate (who plays the guitar). Is anyone else jacked for the first slew of new releases? What are you most excited for?
