Elvis Aron Presley (yes I use the middle name spelling of "Aron" and not "Aaron" because Gladys and Vernon chose "Aron" when Elvis was born. However, Elvis (in later years) opted to start using "Aaron" for his middle name and Vernon honored this request and put "Aaron" on his headstone as it is the "Biblical spelling") was, is, and forever will be the GREATEST ENTERTAINER who ever...lived.

To those born after August 16, 1977 I can honestly say that you...missed...alot. To see Elvis in person, on stage, in his PRIME was an EVENT unlike anything seen before...or after.

Even though Elvis' "lighting" consisted of THREE COLORED LIGHTS the fact that his voice was AWESOME combined with the full orchestra, and the Stamps Quartet and the Sweet Inspirations, along with Charlie Hodge (guitar, vocals, and handed Elvis his "water and scarfs" along with being one of Elvis' best friends), Ronnie Tutt (drums), Jerry Scheff (base guitar), and James Burton (lead guitar) and Larry Muhoberac (piano) was an ELECTIFYING EVENT!

Unlike "artists" of today, who lip sync to tracks and have dancers for "excitement" and multi million dollar special effects, Elvis MOVED and he sang...LIVE. Elvis' voice was just as powerful/rich/full LIVE as it was on his records. In fact, Elvis was a PERFECTIONIST (about many things) and he would "go off" if anyone "enhanced" his voice in any way.

I have been an Elvis Presley Collector, Fan, and Expert for many many years now. I am also a DIEHARD ADVOCATE for Elvis as there are, and have been, so many falsehoods about him that these "lies" get repeated so much that the public mistakes them for (sadly)...facts.

So many of the "friends, and group" associated with Elvis have passed away now and taken with them many stories/memories of Elvis. Fortunately Elvis left behind an INCREDIBLE array of records, videos, concert footage, etc. for us to listen to...and share that it makes (in some small way) Elvis' life...current.

Even though our Elvis Websites were blessed to have OVER ONE MILLION Visits, in the last half of 2008, I will try and make sure that we share our insight/memories/etc. with everyone here at MOG as well.

We don't "join" websites, etc. unless they meet/exceed our stringent criteria and we are pleased to be a part of the MOG community.

If there are any PARTICULAR Elvis "life events" that the MOG subscribers want please don't hesitate to let us know. If we don't know the answer(s) then either (a) they don't exist and/or (b) they have never been shared.
