So every now and then I'll get stuck working late and put my library on random and let it go just to spice things up a bit (because I will get totally sucked into my work - sad, yes - and I will go through a bunch of great songs I hadn't listend to in a while and really enjoy it). So tonight i did just this and at a certain point "I'll believe anything" by Wolf Parade popped on and I got pulled totally out of my work and into the song that i used to be totally obsessed with. It used to be and clearly still is one of my favorite songs by one of my favorite bands in years.
I know these guys were not the favorite of a lot of people. I tried to push the band on most of my friends and for some reason that i really dont understand it never really took, but this song caught me right away and i was instantly hooked. I've been listening to Wolf Parade all night since.
On a random note, there is the video - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bF5wxKAbcc4 - I'll admit it, is kind of weird (although inexplicably interesting) and i think i must be missing something. The song though is great. I cant do anything but reccomend the album to everyone i know. I honestly dont understand how you wouldnt love it.

thanks for the tip!
My Trusted MOGs
I think they just hit at the wrong time. Since they're buddies with the Modest Mouse guy, whose previous album had been successful, and Arcade Fire was blowing up, I think a lot of people were turned off by the hype. It's a good album though, if you like the aforementioned bands.
