Why do nightclub DJs have Avril Lavigne - Girlfriend...it is the most irritating song i have ever heard yet it is continually played in clubs and for the life of me i cant figure out why?!Also the DJ last night made it worse for himself by playing Lil Chris - Checkin' It Out after that song. Those 2 songs together can totally destroy a playlist!

Finally got to listen to the new LP album and it is as expected, completely different to their other albums. Mike Shinoda's little burst of rap are a rarity...i personally am not sure whether that was a good idea or not, they are what made LP unique from other bands. Minutes to Midnight is good, but i dont think it is anywhere near as good as their other stuff...i think they could've done bette...

I am massive fan of Metallica but this is not one of their best performances. Hetfields singing is nothing on what it used to be which ruins a large portion of the songs...If only they released a live album from when they were still all at there best in the early 90's.I am also not expecting too much from the new album , despite replacing Bob Rock, i still dont think metallica will make another...
