With so much amazing music out there to blog about I figured I'd post about a recent discovery this time instead of an old favorite.Film School are apparently from San Francisco, but I still haven't had opportunity to see them.The album merges the recent return to the angsty post-punk sound so popular these days with subtle shoegazer elements in the guitar work as well. This track leans heavier to the post-punk side, but is one of the standouts for me. Beggar's Banquet has been putting out a lot of great stuff lately with "Boxer" by The National also being one of my favorites this year. It's good to see a classic label still delivering the goods with their new artists.Enjoy.
