I don't care to scan for similar issues. Mine ain't working right. I give it a few more restarts and days and stuff, and then I give up until some huge press release announcing that it consistently works right. Without this functionality MOG is anemic.

What are folks' recommendations for the hard-of-remembering and hard-of-reading/writing sheet music to essentially exorcise the songs in your brain? I realize I can write down lyrics (whenever I feel like it), but remembering melodies and guitar subtleties is very difficult for me. Right now my best bet seems to be a little Nomad JB3 with a pre-amp and a little condenser mic. The works-in-pr...

I honor Mr. Agle as a renaissance man; one who could seamlessly morph between fledgling designer guy and musician, then back to visual artist--and a successful one. He was by no means Swamp Zombies all by himself, but I bow to his goodocity. I like Scratch `N' Sniff Car Crash and A Frenzy Of Music And Action. I think the former is much stronger and more varied. Frenzy is like a concept albu...

The Karma, my portable audio device, is touted as the audiophile's player. So there's nothing quite like listening to ostensibly hi-fi thud rock with it, through a mono speaker on a 14" TV, which is running by coax to an RF convertor, which for some reason requires the DVD player (connected by RCA cables) to be turned on, with video being displayed. So we've got QotSA rumbling barely audibly, acc

Looking at my two previous posts, I decided to try to avoid becoming a Negative Nimoy; I really am happy with this place so far. Larry and Bill and Lisa and Gina and Carmine and Spoony have all done such a swell job. It's revolutionary in how it operates. Its much better at the realtime updating and monitoring than l**t.fm for example. Its info if much more immediately useful. It's fun, and eng

The cotton mouth gets the soda, so I hear, so I wondered if people here agree that it could be nice to have those little custom Vital Signs re-editable. See, I am involved in the highly sensitive process of monitoring and sharing the disposition of my facial hair, and I am forced to delete, then add a new Vital Sign with each change. They are, after all, Vital Signs, which, especially at their m

I like the idea of this place. But I'm already a little bothered by its apparent adopting of the lowest-common-denominator in artist and album information. I'm a meticulous tagger of my digital audio, down to the "Comments" and often "Composer" and "Conductor" and "Soloists". So I get here and I find most of my Siouxsie listed with an ampersand, separating it from the "and" version of the band
