Get Shot and Rot
Perpetrated by Mog Agent Joxley
I must say I was suspicious of that city slicker wandering around my fields in his tux but soon lost interest as I bent down to examine my crops. My cauliflower had been infested with a particularly bad case of cabbage maggot and I fully intended to cure them of this particular pestilence. The sun hung low in the sky, the last heat of the day seemed to bunch up and hover over the ground. Engrossed as I was, I didn't hear his footsteps creeping up from behind. A long shadow slid into my awareness ... I turned quickly catching a glint from the limey's steel.
Cool and composed he pointed his weapon and backed me up to the compost pile... I could smell the roses that my family had planted for me on my birthday. Their scent impregnated my fear ridden brain, beckoning me through that fatal doorway, calling me to a place unknown yet always close by.
For a moment we stared at each other, the air seemed to thicken between us. Then suddenly his implacable expression broke, a slight smile curled upwards as he whispered slowly and decisively, "Mog sent me".
He squeezed the trigger.......
The bullet entered my temple cleanly, no pain. My body crumpled to the ground atop the compost heap ... strangely I still ... felt ... lighter.... a weight had lifted, a separation had occurred. I started to rise, I could see my body lying there ... already it seemed to be just another object, falling back into the earth from whence it came. Peering over my lifeless form was that nefarious agent of Mog ... or was he angelic?...I couldn't tell. The job done, he holstered his piece, and plucked two white ear buds from his pocket.
And then as if he had placed them in my own ears the song started to play....

Heh..you were impregnated by a scent and you got killed. Sweet.
Trust Dz to post his death with the full, novelistic quintessence accounted for.
I once complained of lazy posting around these parts. Dz is the hardest working man in MOG business.
And must add that there is poetic justice in Jox taking you down. He's a hell of a gunslinger/wordslinger, too.
Dzendvokh, it was a pleasure...
Though I hate to see you go - it's nice to know our Joxbridge was at the forefront of said perpetration !!!
This senseless murder is ugly, yet beautiful.
He was in a tux? Must have been an Indian Casino nearby. I can just picture his muddy shny shoes as the last thing you saw. Cold, man, cold.
On behalf of the seraphim and cherubim, I hereby welcome you to MOG Heaven. Just follow the shining disco ball at the end of the tunnel and walk into the neon lights. O:-)
I love the theme...very clever.
welcome to our side......
Joxley's an O.G. huh? A stylish one, at that. Damn, he got you good, Dzendvokh. RIP.
Sweet mix...Dead Flowers should go on as a bonus track..That was pretty damn quick for England to the Island..Nice killing.
We're not safe anywhere...not even at our own garden (not that I have one, but you know...)...
RIP. Bloooooooooood really is starting to flood MOG...
hey, this album threw me off it first but has grown on my like a virus. it's haunting and beautiful
R.I.P. Beautiful theme by the way and the track is awesome. Have to look this up.
Dzendvokh, I have actually been wondering recently how exactly MOG has been subtly but systematically convincing me to jettison my previous life for a MOG life, and now your exquisitely-written narration brings it home.
It ain't easy being dead... especially now that my attacker lives on... somebody help please!
