  1. Bartleby says Was that what you awoke to this morning, Dzen? It's so bright and full of promises. Agree with you. Shame, this song does not have an extended version

  2. Dzendvokh says All mornings are like that, it's just that all mornings don't feel like that.... Bright and full of promises indeed. I wish the rest of your day, or night (?) to be the same.

  4. dachmo says We were still in the 70's (21c) up until Monday then it's been nothing but rain and clouds and cold weather. It's miserable here, very Octoberish. This is out my parents back door.

  5. Spike says As an early alarm clock reminded me of an errand, I stumbled over my shoes next to the bed, and it sure felt like a daft morning. Your post fortunately hoodwinked me into feeling that the morning was bright and full of promises indeed. The Byrds were singing!

  9. Cody B says All rain and clouds in the BK..this breathes along nicely and (weirdly) it sounds (especially the vocals) like the Stone Roses. Now there's a band i could never understand the hubub about. The Byrds I get. There's a band called I See Hawks In LA that kinda worships at the Byrds temple. You ever hear those cats?

  10. Dzendvokh says No I have not, they worth checking out? I really like the feel of this song, it just kind of rolls along, and I like that interlude with the reverb that builds to a crash and those horns which sound just a little off....but familiar.

  11. Cody B says I'll give ya a sample here..I think they get the stoner country vibe goin' purty good..They definitely fall to the country side of Byrd-land, so if that ain't yer cup, I wouldn't go there. This one grabbed me tho.

  12. Dzendvokh says This definitely falls under the category of country I can get into, it's not my go to music but there's definitely quality stuff out there I dig a lot. Thanks for the taste, now if I just can get the acidic stain off my tongue.....
