WHERE MUSIC LISTENS TO YOU

Sweet words from Serpents tongues ->

Posted 5 months ago

Whilst preusing Maryland's Senator's web pages, I opened a 30 page diary of bills and activities from the past 6 months for Sen. Ben Cardin ->

He's teaming up with the other Senator, Barbara Mikulski, and Baltimore scumbag Mayor, Sheila Dixon ->

And I say scumbag because since she took office, she's spent more time in court pleading the 5th than actually in duty to the city of Baltimore...on charges of stealing gift cards meant for poor people, appropriating funds to companies so her relatives would get the money, and a few others -> THe news footage of government investigational agents wheeling out bins of paperwork and receipts, and booking records from the Mayor's home surely didn't get me feeling all warm and fuzzy inside ->

With that said, I stumbled upon WHAT they were teaming up for -> And as a part of the (ARRA) American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009, they have been alotted funds from Obama's wonderful $780 billion stimulus -> and this is the words that make it believable that they really care about the environment and overcrowding on the city streets and all that -> (but I'm sure the full documentation for the is over 1,000 pages and has loop holes for a lot of that funding to be used the wrong way ->

Cardin, Mikulski announce $1.59 million to expand Baltimore's Inner Harbor Connector communter boat service

July 14th: U.S. Senator Barbara A. Mikulski and I (Sen. Ben Cardin), along with Baltimore Mayor Sheila Dixon, announced today a $1.59 million federal grant to the Baltimore City Department of Transportation to expand its cross-harbor commuter boat service to accommodate commuters and intra-city businesses. The funds are made possible by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA).

Moving people efficiently and rapidly through our most important commercial centers, like Baltimore, inherently requires greater use of and greater options for public transit. Expanding the capabilities of the Harbor Connector will take countless cars off of our congested city streets and takes tons of pollutants out of the air we breathe. It is a cost-effective and environmentally friendly alternative for local commuters and businesses. I am proud to see this worthy project receive the federal investment it so greatly deserves.

As much as my 'conspiracy theory' prone mind wants to scream 'YEAH RIGHT', at least on the surface it sounds as if the money meant to 'stimulate' the economy will work if given to the political types, their spending it on materials, more jobs, contractors, builders, and laborers.

On the flip side, as much as I would rather have a check in my hand...I know that I'd be banking it, and not spending frivolously -> as would a lot of Americans -> If I received enough money to pay off all my bills at once, then I would spend it, but for now I'd like to save up for a down payment on a home, and keep paying my bills in monthly installments -> All I'm saying, is if there is a chance of our ecenomy returning to the so called 'normal stability', then appropriating funds to be spent on our infrastructure to improve sities roads and such may be a good idea ->

This band is hot in my rotations, very different sound lyrically, and the music is pretty slamming at times ->

It's pretty sad how little I'm into local politics. Thanks to the Daily Show and Colbert Report, I know substantially more about America's political news than my own.

This song may take a few listens to fully appreciate, but I like it.

honestly, I'd rather watch Jon Stewart myself, although his show can jade an honest opinion...and political figures usually only go on there to show they are 'cool' and can take a good hearted ribbing from Jon, and maybe gain some votes if the viewers were mostly lazy potheads who don't vote anyway ->

It's just that once in a while I need to renew my hatred for all things related to government...I just can't help reading between the lines and laughing at how bogus political literature is, it usually is a bunch of fancy words that no normal human can decipher so they can cover their asses when they get cuaght laundering, or skimming, or redistributing funds illegally ->

    sorry for the rant ->

I've been working so much lately the only politics i care about right now are the work politics aka rumor and hearsay. Tho I did hear that our president declared us "No longer a Christian nation" so there's that. How much longer till we decide that were not american any more. we'll be one nation under Obama with slavery and injustice for all! But hey, I guess thats what he ment by CHANGE.

Tyler: We had some probs here in WA where money that was suppose to upgrade the via duct in Seattle just disappeared one day. I haven't heard much about it since.

dans...: We a nation under God, but I don't know if we are Christian nation per say. Some of the founding father's were theist but couldn't fall under the catagory of Christian. One problem I have with the Christian America viewpoint is America is treated like a theocracy which we're not. I think (& this debatable) that part of the new covenant was to abolish that system of gov to allow the gentiles to be saved. Christianity is suppose to be this free will gift, & not forced up the will of the people. In doing so you can get unsincere converts.

Yes but you have to allow that we were founded based on christian morals ethics and laws. if we scrap that we kinda lose our foundation and give the government free reign to do whatever no matter how immoral or unethical. Thats where my concern comes in. I don't trust the government to have the best intrest of the people at heart any more. Power seems their new focus. And a government intent on power is a very dangerous thing.

I gotcha' that why I deem our Gov sometimes "As one who comes as thee Angel of Light." I uae to call Bush that, I  see him more as a Saul than a David. & I'm not saying Bush was or was not a Christian. It's between him & God which I'm definately not. Guess I was coming from the whole seperation of church & state thing, which is a highly debatable issue in itself.

I just tend to project our government in the future morphing into this evil empire type thing. So small things throw up warning signals to me.

nothing a few cans of gas and some road flares won't cure ->

Jason -> I agree on the 'small' things that throw up warning flags, but we're already as a whole nation too complacent as it is, so much so that even though we talk on MOG about something needing to be done, the enemies forces of power, greed, and domination has already corrupted too many avenues , too many people in the right places who've already put in place safeguards in the form of laws, rules, and regulations for any gorup or individual to do anything about now anyway -> So yup, happy fuckin Jihad day ->

RGM -> debatable...true -> though no matter what you believe, you probably want someone who outwardly professes good morals and acts in such a way that keeps with those verbal claims to be representing us and acting on OUR behalf to be in office -> but there in lies the catch 22 if you will -> I am a christian, and cofess those beliefs, but people commonly hear the word christian and automatically see images in their head of all the corrupt confessions and allegations of church leaders and political heads who claim christian morlas yet buy prostitutes, arrest drug addicts and then sell their drugs to little kids, cheat on their wives, extort money, take bribes, molest children, and then ask for forgiveness publicly.

no wonder people want a seperation of church and state, and politicians, despite their beliefs, water down their morals to appease the people gathered at the time ->

Scripture says -> in Romans 3:10-18 (Paul (formerly Saul) is quoting different Psalms to the church of Corinth because they were quarrelling about politics and religion))

"There is none righteous, not even one, there is none who understands, there is none who seeks for God, All have turned aside, together they become useless, there is none who does good, there is not even one, their throat is an open grave, with they're tongues they keep deceiving, the poison of asps is under their lips, whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness, their feet are swift to shed blood, destruction and misery are in their paths, and the path of peace they have not known, there is no fear of God before their eyes."

Meaning, that the decisions the politicians were making back then were for personal gain, and in so doing oppression.

How would this country do if the people who ran it claimed christianity and really believed it, ACTUALLY BELIEVEING that if they made decisions to help people and did everything they could to help the common man that they'd be rewarded with a place in heaven at God's right hand...AND ON THE FLIP SIDE that if they made decisions for personal gain born out of greed and malice and desire for power that they's spend eternity in a place void of peace, love, joy, kindness, happiness and would suffer eternity without God's presence -> I mean really believed that, would they make the same decisions ->

BUT -> Let's say we had a leader who claimed christianity, but in actions through his past, was affiliated with Islamic teachings?? has relatived involved in hostile skirmishes in Islamic countries??

Who hid behind Christianity because as a Muslim, who actively believes killing christians is a moral thing to do...what would be the best way for a hostile muslim who believes the erratic teachings (that not all muslims believe) of violence is the right way to get in a position to carry that out, perhaps allow thousands of his commrades into the country to build a huge anarchistic cell against America (the root of all evil) and a large populations of Catholistc believers???

I know...send a man who doesn't look like a terrorist into good education, politics and charismatic speaking and get them elected into a big office so he can manipulate a huge jihad!!!

Now, I'm not saying that Obama is doing this, I've heard plenty of racist, prejudice theories about him in this sense, but what if it was true?? Would we want him in office then ->

With my rant done, hopefully I haven't left anyone un-offended ->

If I have...then -> faggot queer, midget ratard ball sucker snot dripping snatch AIDS cow Indian mother f*ucker ->

    There
