Here's a Foo Fighters song to soothe your senses -> My favorite by them actually, so enjoy my worhtless stats that mean nothing to anyone but me!!!
And now kiddos, my ½ year stats à Last.fm, the creepy guy on the playground, wearing aviator sunglasses that are darker than Limousine windows, who doesn't have any kids there but leans against a tree in the shade smoking a pipe and occasionally scratching the inside of his thigh…but you know he's really scratching has sack à
Well, that was a bit drawn out à but anyway, Last.fm is like that guy, watching everything I do. They have kept immaculate records of my listening habits, bands and albums recently added to my media library. The only problem I've run into is whenever I listen to Black Label Society's "Fire it up" Last.fm recognizes it as a rapper named T.I. (born Clifford Joseph Harris Jr.) with the same track name. And my media player has it identified as T.I as well, but listed with BLS, and no matter how many times I manually select the 'find album info' from the online store, it just won't change damnit à oh well, 1 track out of 6,467 is pretty damn accurate, as a matter of fact, it is 99.999845369% correct, that's better than…well, that's better than 99% à obviously à
So with no further delay à

I am now resetting my Last.fm counter at the end of today and starting new à
DEMO à NIN jumped to my number one all time listened band for a few weeks, but Dry Kill Logic came back to take the title à we’ll see how shit turns out with my reset…"
Good to see you're still alive! Those are some tasty stats you got running there. NIN #2 artist? Me likey. I'll have to give some of these artists / tracks a listen when I get home.
I wish I could get my MP3 player to scrobble tracks because that's where I listen to a lot of my music. Besides that I'm mostly wading through my 'To Test' directory or playing the radio on TheSixtyOne (often time on mute).
I didn't know there was a counter reset on last.fm...
I reset it on 12/30/08, that's when these stats took effect...now I can't figure out how the hell I did it ->
Would it be:
http://www.last.fm/settings/account
Then 'Clear Listening Data'?
seems like a pretty good way to get an honest top ten list. instead of trying to appear more badass than you actually are. But do I really need another music site? I frequent two already (Mog and LaLa)
the more the better, I am still pissed because my first music site was PUREVOLUME, but I'm firewalled, they still send me emails of comments from bands that are just starting out thanking me for my honest opinion of their music -> I owe a lot to Purevolume for introducing me to new bands -> MOG too, but I think last.fm has introduced the most music to me though ->
every time I log into last.fm, there are recommendations based on the music I listen to, and I'm always checking other peoples listening history who have a few things in common with me -> found a lot of music that way ->
Hmm I just check out the bands in the guitar world adds on you tube. then I download the ones I like.
