I dont live in a rural area, so it kinda pisses me off when things are so unavailable. For some reason bands and indie films are hard to come by here. I have completely fallen in love with the song "Falling Slowly" sung by Glen Hansard (The Frames) and Marketa Irglova in the move "once". It's not playing any where near me. I used to love when I lived in New York to go over to the Angelica and see some great gems of the cinema. But those days are gone, and there's no comparible alternative here. The lack of culture here is appalling, I would think with Miami being the uber destination for some, would bring this film to this area, but Im wrong. Oh well, guess Ill be waiting for the DVD. At least, I know that will come. But the countless bands and shows that never come this way as its too far out of their circuit, those are lost opportunities. :(
