So yesterday I went out to spend the rest of a giftcard I received at xmas for a local record store, and I was amazed to find something I've been waiting seven years for:which over course I have listened to non-stop since I bought it. I recommend it to anyone and EVERYONE!!For those who don't know it's Excellent Italian Greyhound by Shellac.I remember back in 2004 when I saw them in TN they said their next album would be out in 2007 but I really don't think anyone believed them. This makes me HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY!!On a somewhat sadder not all the record stores up here are out of Mirrored by Battles which I also would very much like, but when I come down to TN I know there will be a crap load of copies so no prob. For those literary folks I also picked up Endgame by Derrick Jensen:I've only gotten 35 pages in but it is great as well.Since I encode everything as flac I will leave you with a crappy video of the first track on Excellent Italian Greyhound.
