We used to call them the Mashing Mumpkins.
I don't know why, I guess we thought it was funny.
I used to collect their vinyl... before wife and kids and those kinda things came into my life... aka back when I had money.
This song rocks about as hard as any of their later stuff, along with Tales Of A Scorched Earth and Bodies.
I have not heard anything off of the new release... but this song still kicks my hind end.

My Trusted MOGs
I've always been sort of iffy on the Pumpkins. They've done some great songs ("1979", "Cherub Rock") and some huge stinkers ("Tonight," for example. Blech!)
This one ain't bad, though.

I was a huge fan. I collected all kinds of vinyl from them and collectors discs. I did not care for a lot of the songs on this disc set, nor anything much after Mellon Collie... but their earlier stuff really got my blood going.
Btw... I finally remembered to burn your tunes onto a disc and I listened to it over and over today. Great stuff! Really catchy tunes with excellent production!

Thanks! Just the one album so far, right? I've actually started putting them up on archive, but I got bogged down. My computer was messing up, and for some reason fileden kept making my computer freeze and have to be restarted. Not fun. But it just got wiped clean, and it's running like a dream, so the uploading should continue soon.
