Just a bit further down this path now...

Cover # 3 is Soundgarden covering Devo's song Girl U Want.

I loved Soundgarden's music, however, this cover is not one of those covers that really wow you. They didn't really make it their song in my estimation. It's just a cover.

True, although it's my favorite Devo song (followed closely by Satisfaction, which is in your next post down). Still, this sounds pretty good.

I'm gonna be all pretentious with this statement, but I liked Soundgarden up until Superunknown. I know it's such a godawful cooler than thou thing to say, but they were great until they realized there as money in it. Once they got popular they lost it to me. I mean, compare "Jesus Christ Pose" with "Black Hole Sun." It's not even the same freakin' band to me!
