So... I was duly corrected with my last post. It's FIREFOX, NOT FOXFIRE YOU DOLT!
Heh... I've been a bit high strung as of late. My nerves are on the frayed edges of sanity due to this that and the other. I've had some of my trusted moggers posting songs from the band Flipper. It's got me posting on them now. The only release that I have is Generic, the re-release from Rick Rubens Def American label.
It's been quite the inspiration to me, with the (very) loosely played droning/feedbacking guitar, the steady, sometimes droning bass guitar, the sometimes poorly played and over reverbed drums, the off key and often flat or tone deaf vocals. And it all melded into one giant drone with a beat. I loved it and it drove my friends insane back in the early 90's when I picked this up. Everyone hated it.
The vocals on this were performed by original (and now deceased from a drug OD) bass player and shared vocalist, Will Shatter. His is where the tone deaf/flat voxs come in. It's a beautiful thing. Check it.
