Groove-less

I have been surprised by how much Groovie Ghoulies love there is among moggers. My best friend and former roomie would play them all the time (when for me, once was enough). I am pretty neutral on pop-punk stuff like this (the constant whu-ohs are unnecessary), but the Ghoulies are just too bland for me (a common issue in many genre-focused music, including my preferred genre, the blues). What makes me cross over into dislike (hate?) of the Ghoulies is Kepi Ghoulie's shrill-like voice.
Now, on the other hand, I must give it up to the Haints, which is essentially the Groovie Ghoulies playing country. Kepi's voice works soooo much better with this format, and the music is interesting, blending together beautifully.
