Eerie but captivating melody matched with nearly hymn-like lyrics and Waits' rasp make this worth repeated listenings. Used as the theme for the HBO series "The Wire". In season 8 a version was produced by an amateur Baltimore group called "Domaje" which is both sublime and unavailable anywhere. So if anyone has any leads please let me know. Unti then, this version by Mr. Waits is well worth the listen
