Can it ever be cool to be a jerk?

So I was thinking today, when is it cool to be a jerk? When you're a smooth swingin'-60's-Gauloise-smokin'-cool-as-fark-French-mofo like Serge Gainsbourg, that's when. This track called "Requiem pour un con" (which translates to Requiem for a Jerk). This clip taken from the 1968 film "Le Pacha" shows one of Gainsbourg's best performances of his song which has been sampled by the likes of Gallic Hiphop phenom MC Solaar. Sit back, take a drag on your Gauloise and feel the beat. Groovy baby!!

    Diesel says He didn't find broad recognition of his music until 20 years into his career but he is well worth looking into. This track has been sampled by many a dj and hiphop artist to date and justifiedly so. It's a classic don't you think? Thanks for the comment.
