Great piece - made "famous" as the background music to part of Episode 9 of Carl Sagan's 1980 COSMOS TV series.
Interestingly, though this series has been re-released in both shortened and full length versions, Froese's piece of music "disappeared" from the newer versions - supposedly due to copyright reasons.
A shame, as some of the impact of the Cosmos series came from the brilliant selection of music to match the mood of the discussion - in this case the suitably macabre concept of the Last Perfect Day on Earth, before the exapanding sun destroys the ecosystem of Earth.
The original 1975 recording is very rare now.

this is the same froese who was once a member of Tangerine Dream, right? if so, i LOVE his music, was a big fan of T Dream too. i don't suppose you have the audio for this song that you could add to this post?
This track is amazing! Heard it Live in Eindhoven in April at Edgar Froese`s first concert ever, with his solo material!
