This is the theme song from the short lived Fox television show Drive. The singer is Gavin Rossdale of Bush.

  2. DeepSyxxAbyss says Yeah, a lot of people challenged the music of the show saying that it was one of it's ultimate downfalls. The intro, which featured Rossdale's song, was done with a heavy amount of CGI giving it that electronic feel. So, I guess that's what he was going for. Plus, if you listen to Adrenaline, a song done by Rossdale for XXX, the music in the songs sounds strikingly similar. Anyway, the song really hit me when I heard it on Drive despite all the negativity surrounding the song and the show.

  4. DasVerLemm says I think the problem that Drive had was that Tim Minear (the other half of Firefly) really tried to hit too high. The opening credits themselves had more special effects than an entire season of 24. And a cast of 13 really hits the payroll office hard. It was still a good show, just a tad bit expensive. As for the music: I freakin' loved it. After recording the pilot, i would watch just the first few minutes for the intro music. And finding out that the lead singer of Bush was the composer of this piece kinda of explains why i liked it so much. I've heard people complain that the song doesn't fit the song at all; that a show called 'Drive' should have a speedy, fast paced theme song. But to me, the show wasn't about going fast (granted when Nathan Fillion got that charger, and did go fast, it was awesome), it was really about what these people live for, and what they need to win for... and this theme song really goes for that motif.
