Now let me be the first to admit that I am not a country fan, and I am very (uneccesarily so) picky about what folk I dig.But Josh Ritter blows me away. I met him after a Frames show last fall and he hugged everyone who approached him, spoke for hours after the show with fans old and new (mostly new) and had really played like mad in the show, even doing the most darling duet with Glen Hansard of the Frames. He signed a promo CD to my daughter, "Your father and I love you very much!"Check him out.
