WHERE MUSIC LISTENS TO YOU

Seattle Music Venue Rundown

Posted about 1 year ago

If you are visiting Seattle or, if you have recently moved here, you may be curious about the different concert venues, the type of acts that they book, the crowd, etc. etc.

I recently started writing for and posting "GUIDES" on another site for money and I just created one recently that I figured I would post here on Mog.

Provided there is a basic description of some of the mid level to larger venues in town. I have included a basic rundown of the facilities as well as the type of vibe and performers that you can expect to see there.

Here is a video from probably the most consistent venue in town from a booking perspective.

This is Silver Jews performing Wild Kindness at Neumos last month

i haven't been to ALL of those venues, but i have to say i always enjoy neumos, for the atmosphere, the reasonable ticket prices, and the availability of the musicians to interact with the audience.

i've always wanted to go to the triple door, so i'll think i'll wait and find ME a man to take me just like you did for your girl! haha.

It seems like Neumos just gets the best shows all around.

You should definitely check out The Triple Door though it is top notch.
My lady and I are actually going to see Gang Gang Dance and Marnie Stern there tomorrow
