Listening to this song just now, I got an insatiable urge to play some Qix. So I did.Anyone else get music-associated cravings like this?

  3. Spike says If a good home-made compilation is lucky, it should inspire cravings like that and then satisfy them with the next cut. For instance, right after "Sic 'Em Dogs On" by Bukka White comes "If Not for You" by Olivia Newton-John to the rescue, sounding in some ways similar (bottleneck guitar) but providing also a more soothing voice and varied chord progression. It is also a transition from something old and obscure to something stigmatized by being fluffy and on the top ten.
