WHERE MUSIC LISTENS TO YOU

Naturally Unnatural

One more for my already-overflowing "best of 2006" list. I can't think of anything else like this album. An old soul man from the Mussel Shoals days shares some BBQ and beers with the best in "real" country (Emmylou Harris, Gillian Welch & David Rawlings, Dolly Parton, Sam Bush, Al Perkins, and Jim Lauderdale) and somehow it all works and feels authentic.Actually, it works great - why isn't there more music like this?
