WHERE MUSIC LISTENS TO YOU

Hidden Gems: Carole King

Here's a snappy little number off King's 1970 debut "Writer" - shows a little CSN influence by way of west-coast jazz if you ask me. Kinda fun.

  2. Spike says This is good. I haven't heard that album in 35 years, and don't remember noticing that song, but now it sounds great. I do remember liking, "Up on the Roof," "Goin' Back" (covered by the Byrds, Danny Kerwin, etc.), and "To Love" uploaded here:

  3. brittanybf says Nice one. Thanks, Dave. I remember listening to her Really Rosie kids album in first grade, and we'd walk around in a circle and sing her alphabet song. I actually just recently discovered that she was the woman behind that album, and it kinda blew my mind.
