This song can break your heart

I knew k.d. lang's incredible cover of this song from her 1997 album "Drag," but hadn't heard the original until this past week.Just about tore my heart in two.All about the pain of addiction, sorrow for those involved... pretty bleak stuff.

    David Wilcox is a wonderful songwriter. For some reason his song "Block Dog" stands as one of his best of my personal favorites but this song always stops me in my tracks.
