05 Jun 2007Went to a celebrity 'do' tonight in London.Nice enough of them to have me and all that - but I couldn't help but feel strangelydisconnected from it all.I've never been a celebrity anyway - so it's no suprise that I'm not the most experienced at these kinds of things - but I sat and watched the whole thing unfold before my eyes with a bit of a wry smile I guess.Paparazzi desperate to get pictures of Victoria Beckham.Enrique Eglesius getting screamed at by grown women.Random thoughts that went through my head...As the man at the table next to me churned through cigarettes like oxygen I thoughtCould you smoke MORE please? I haven't got enough ashtray smell on my clothes or asthma in my lungs.Free champagne.Awards for Angelina Jolie.Victoria looks thinner in real life.Ferne cotton has a cute boyfriend.Victoria Newton the famous gossip columnist from London's Sunwas strangely stunning and spectacular looking in red, red, red.And though I was dressed up in my best designer outfit all I wanted todo was curl up in bed.Nice of them to have me and all that.Reminded me of a John Lennon Song."I'm just sitting here watching the wheels go round and round.I really love to watch them roll.No longer riding on the merry go round.I just had to let it go."Indeed.xD
