Anathallo – Floating WorldAt first I thought this year's list paled in comparison to my '05 list, but after thinking it over, I think they're both pretty damn good. 2006 was a great year for music. As Tall As Lions' sophomore album is absolutely phenomenal. I definitely think it's better than my last year's number 1 (Takk). As for everything else on my list, I'll let the rockin do the talkin. Oh and the answer is yes, I only listen to bands with the word "Lions" in them. Get it all out of your system now. Honorable Mention:Sleepaway – SleepawayPortugal, The Man – Waiter: You Vultures!Watashi Wa – Eager SeasJeremy Enigk – World WaitsmewithoutYou – Brother, Sister These were all great albums. When it came down to it, my decision making process went like this: If I were stranded on a desert island and could only have one album to listen to, which would I prefer? These albums got beat out by the ones on my top 10. Songs (In no particular order):Moneen – Don't Ever Tell Locke What He Can't DoAs Tall As Lions – Stab City (or, insert any song from the album really)Justin Timberlake – My LoveJet – Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is Movies:1.
