Picture if you will: I'm a sophomore in high school, not exactly the height of popularity. There's a new concert arena that opens not far from home (Irvine Meadows, not sure what it's called now), and Howard Jones plays there. I go ahead and get a ticket, but can't find a ride with any friends. My mom bails on giving me a ride, so I miss the show. The next day, HALF the student body is wearing HoJo concert T-shirts, and I'm left with a burning desire to cut my eyes out. :(

Still like the HoJo, even if the videos redefine "cheesy 80's".

If half the people in my high school turned up one day wearing Howard Jones T-shirts I would've gone and hid in my attic. I wish I went to your high school!

That's life in the OC, where listening to Howard Jones was not an act of rebellion at all. Now Bauhaus, on the other hand ...

bummer dale - if only you live in west VA where you can drive a tractor at 10, a car at 13. or something like that :) no offense to those VAers out there.

I probably tried to do that hairstyle in high school. Yes, electricity was involved. ;)

Electricity is still involved in all of my hairstyles.....oooops!
