   Violet Grey says Well, that kind of production will make that distinction possible. Maybe they should have played into their sound instead of trying to be so different from the start.

   Dale says Shoegaze or no, "Ferment" still kicks my butt, 14 years later. Catherine Wheel had good songs here and there, on their other albums, but this was the only album that I could really enjoy the whole way through.
