  2. Dale says Your friend, and that shirt, both rule. That song just popped up in Winamp and I thought, "Yeah!"

  4. smithco says This could mean one of the following: 1. You've become a music snob. In which case, welcome to the better-than-pop-culture. 2. You've realisd that you no longer what's trendy. In which case, welcome to middle age. 3. You've discovered that you never knew what was trendy in the firstplace. In which case, accept that you may, un fact, be a nerd. I think all of the above are acceptable in the MOGmunity.

  6. chucky says smithco - no, no, no. A nerd is a smart person. A dork is an untrendy person. I know this because once a long time ago I did something goofy and called myself a nerd and my husband patiently explained that I was not a nerd, I was a dork. And he is a dork working towards nerd-dom. Whew. Dale - now I'll be in the know, yo. Woot.

  7. Dale says I've had items 1 & 2 on smithco's list for a while now, but #3 is slowly coming into focus, although Ashley is right, I'm becoming more of a dork, not nerd. I've had nerd down for years.

  8. 1234chainsaw says Now that you're so free, take the next step: "So I’m in the Pompidou, That’s in Paris. And the French, they’re far more laid back about their art galleries. There’s little children running about, I see a piece by Matisse, that’s my window of opportunity. I take 5 steps back, I put my head down and I run at it… Modern Art, makes me, want to rock out (Wooh!)"
