MOG/tiply Secret Santa 3.0 is on!
The Christmas creep has finally taken over the grocery stores and department stores of the US of A, with no more resistance from Halloween. The temperatures are dropping most everywhere. Kids are poring through catalogs and websites trying to find the perfect thing they MUST HAVE or risk utter uncoolness.
Yup, it's time to do Secret Santa again. o<:-)
We will proceed as follows: If you wish to participate, please send me a MOG-Mail. If you wish to receive something in the mail, please include the following information:
Full name
Complete mailing address
No death, no themes, nice and easy.
You will receive your assignment on December 1. Please send out your mixes and gifts by no later than December 10. If you cannot make that deadline, please let me know ASAP, so I can make adjustments. There's nothing sadder than getting the shaft from Secret Santa, and I really want to make sure that doesn't happen again. If you don't want to ship overseas, let me know right away. I can work it out, but not so easily when I've already assigned everyone.
I also ask that you spend no more than $15 total on your gift, including shipping. Please, let's not turn the gift-giving into an arms race. Know what I mean?

I got my present last Tuesday night, and I'm commenting here mainly cuz you deserve my response, we've known each other here long enough. If you are looking for something out of yr usual realm, let me know. I haven't been able to peg the music you like in a way that makes me think of music I think you'd like but don't have. But as a person you're one of my favorites here, and if I can ever figure out what music I can turn you onto that you don't have I'd be happy to.
So, happy Veterans Day, and happy Thanksgiving, or whatever you Mormons celebrate.

Sorry Dave, it's the Christmas creep, I'm telling ya! At least I waited until AFTER Halloween, unlike way too many stores.
Rob, I think most of all (Americans and otherwise) got a heck of a present a week ago. Glad you like it!
(BTW, we do celebrate Thanksgiving and Christmas and pretty much every other holiday on the calendar.)

oh my word, is it that time of the year already?? very unfortunately, i am ending my job and possibly going home in December, so i am passing up just this time. but that's not to say i won't be having the Christmas spirit and smothering you all with Christmas love. (;
