Time to "Recapture the Magic!"

A few weeks ago, I was chatting with a few long-time MOGgers who haven't been very active here in a while, and talked about why we've drifted away. Most felt that the sense of community the MOG enjoyed had eroded, but none of us knew what to do about it.Then one of our own, the great Dane himself, suggested we get back to doing what we did to make MOG our online home in the first place. You know, post our musical musings, and comment frequently on each others' posts, as well as the other posts that moved us.We agreed to take up the challenge, in the month of May. Since May is only two days away, it's time to get started.So, this is an invitation to all the MOGgers within my range: come back, post your thoughts, be they based on music or whatever. Read others' posts and leave comments. Respond to comments in your posts.If I didn't already know we've got a great group of people here on MOG, this past weekend proved without a doubt that music obsessives are the best people EVER.This post needs some music, so here's a note of thanks to all the lovely MOGgers to whom I owe so much.

    mocha louder says well - i'm just a brand new li'l ol' mogger here - but i've been enjoying my experiences so far - i guess mainly because i was lucky enough to find myself in very cool mogging company from the beginning : ) ... so - i'll do my best to take on the challenge here.... i've got a whole lot of musical musings going on in my head most of the time... -m

Vanilla yogurt, apple juice, blueberry's and bananas B-A-N-A-N-A-S and it's also got a fistful of: I'm with you Dale, even if the honeymoon is over. Speaking of which, I saw a new Rhapsody commercial recently and it didn't even mention Mog, how rude. (don't respond to the way above, it's just meaningless. It was a good smoothie though!)

    Bartleby says I too have noticed a slump in MOG activity lately. My trusted compadres seemed more quiet. I must plead guilty myself as I fell out of music-addiction (nothing seemed to tickle my cochlea). Thanks for the reminder, Dale. I'll try my best to keep MOG moving (even though I need to get cracking on other more urgent stuff)

    1234chainsaw says You know I share the sentiments, Dale. Traveling for more than half of May without more than occasional Internet access and not having my CDs around me anyway (as of yesterday, they're on their way to UK) won't help spur posts musical or otherwise. But I'll see what I can do.

    mollifire says ya know, i don't think MOG has any swag. i've never seen a t-shirt or anything on any of the employees or at any of the mog meets. so, maybe somebody needs to start something. any screenprinters out there? we at least need a groovy vinyl sticker!
