That would be Liz Fraser from Cocteau Twins, in case you didn't know. :)This new Ladytron album is making me very very happy indeed. It might not be the revelation that Witching Hour was, but it still shows them at the top of their electro-fueled powers.The tagged song above makes me even wonder, what if Liz Fraser wasn't in fact singing "glossolalia":http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Glossolalia at all, but was actually speaking Bulgarian, As Mira Aroyo does here? mocha louder says Very nice - i kinda wandered away from the ladytron, but i've been definitely enjoying what i heard of the new album - and yeah - there's definitely a nice cocteau touch on kletva - sorta mixed with some kinda virgin suicide airiness, methinks. for some reason, my fave ladytron song is still "seventeen" from light & magic. maybe it's the pulp meets soft cell kinda groove? -m

Dale says Yeah, I kinda wandered away around Light & Magic, but "Seventeen" brought me around in a hurry. Looking back, that's a really good album. Then again, they don't put out junk.
