TAKE OFF YOUR SOCKS LEST THEY BE KNOCKED

Poor kids!

You guys remember that mix I made for my youngest son Joshua as a Christmas present? If you don't, "+here's a refresher on what I did.+":http://mog.com/Dale/blog_post/133112Here's the good news: the mix has gone down a treat, he loves it. He listens to it anytime he's in his room, and it has become the preferred soundtrack to our car rides together. He sings along, despite his brothers' protests. I think his older brother Jordan is also enjoying it; I've caught him bouncing along to it once or twice as well.In fact, we recently had a good time together with the mix blasting from their stereo while they folded laundry and I cleaned the kitchen. The bad news: I think he's smitten with the charming Ms. Hatherley. And really, who can blame him?I'd better not show him the video, or he'll never be able to look at another woman without a guitar without thinking there's something missing. I'd like him to __eventually__ get married, ya know.

  3. kat3260 says Ahh yes, the pleather-clad guitar-wielding hottie :) Definitely crush-worthy...young love <3 I can't remember exactly...I think Gavin Rossdale was my first music crush, followed and quickly replaced by Shannon Hoon and Kurt Cobain....

  4. Dale says Ah, that seals it, no video for Joshua. Drunken debauchery, yikes! Kat, no surprise there, I'm sure there are many women that were teens in the 90's who fell for Mr. Rossdale.

  5. annieander says Yeah! Pleather...boys shouldn't think all women wear pleather...especially of the black and low cut variety.

  7. summer eyes says i've already ruined my sister. she was so mad that i didnt take her to see bright eyes with me that she wouldnt speak to me for days. she claims that she is going to marry a guy that sings and plays the guitar. preferably one with a british accent. shes a bit ahead of all the other ten year olds we know.

  8. Bartleby says I protest against this arbitrary decision: I think you should show Joshua Charlotte's video if only to show him that you can be a talented female artist, sexy and proud of your intelligent seduction. He'll come to like opinionated and strong women. Which is good thing in my book. Just don't forget to tell him what my mother told me: "Don't fall in love with the beautiful ones. They'll treat you very badly. Beauty equals cruelty." - If only I heeded her advice...

  9. Anna says Show it show it! Shape his taste in women :) Pass the class! Michael, I'm pretty sure that it's boredom that equals cruelty :)
