WHERE MUSIC LISTENS TO YOU

Taking it down a notch

Posted over 3 years ago
I like lots of loud music, or at least music that needs to be heard at high volume, but every once in a while, I need to slow things down a touch. No one can go all day 24/7 balls-to-the-wall ROCK ON YEEEEEAAAAAHHH! all day long, except maybe da PIMP. Since I don't have his endurance, I have to slow down every once in a while. Here's how I do it: Azure Ray.I know this album is three years old, but darn it, "Hold On Love" is just beautiful stuff. The harmonies these ladies put together soothe the savage beast. I'm posting here a video for their song "Across The Ocean", but it's album track "Sea Of Doubts" that has recently caught my ear.Have I mentioned yet the eye candy factor? I was first introduced to them from the video for "New Resolution", where they strut around the Omaha wastelands in slips.Enough of that. C'mon, Orenda and Maria, please release another album! An anxious worls awaits!

  2. Dale says Not aware of any other albums as a group, but I believe the ladies both released solo albums last year. Just watched the video for Maria Taylor's "Song Beneath The Song", it's pretty good, but not quite the same.

  6. 82times says That video is awesome! For some reason being from a flat rural place and having left it behind, this really resonates with me. It feels so "you can never go home again." And they're hot. I need to get whatever record this song is on.
