Well, I'm down. I think it's been minutes since I've listened to the most awesome slice of music the 12-inch format ever transmitted.
(OK, so it's the '88 version, it still kills.)

We should have known you would not let any Blue Monday references slide by!
Obsession is a overused word, but it took me 20 years to get this out of my head - now it's back!
Seriously Darla, I can't believe I was the first today.
Neill, if this track had escaped your head then I consider it an act of mercy to put it back in. ;)
And THAT'S how it's done...
So Dale, are you sayin' Blue Monday means we're all gonna post 80's stuff, cause that would be cool too! I'm a fan of the Blues, don't get me wrong, but just gimme a chance to post " Shriekback - Nemesis", and I'm there! :))
Anna dear, if I could have found the original ... but this is a good Plan B, no?
Randy, I couldn't help myself. I saw Blue Monday and the post practically wrote itself. But by all means, post "Nemesis". :)
you are going to get nothing from me but a head nod and some strange dance moves
I can live with that. :)
"I saw you look like a Japanese baby . . . "
"The Walk" by The Cure? o_0
Yeah - I mean - you can hear the similarities here, can't you? You could literally lay one song over top of the other.
And I'm not saying that is necessarily a bad thing.
Anyway, I'm just catching up with all of your posts, Dale. You have similar musical tastes as mine, so I am usually not disappointed with your selections.
;-)
Oh, yeah, I suppose that's true. Then again, Robert Smith was never shy about changing his music to mirror his own listening tastes. Again, not at all a bad thing.
