Lest it be said that I have my head constantly in the clouds under the influence of myriad dreamy shoegaze tunes. I decided to give Invaders Must Die a spin and it's proven quite satisfying. Yes, there is still room in my heart for some mindless dance music that mkes me want to bounce off the basement walls.

Truth be told, I think it's a much more consistent and enjoyable album than The Fat of The Land, Breathe and Firestarter excepted.

If Anna hadn't sucked all the liquid out of the glow sticks, I'd be all over that. :)

A further reminder to check this album out. When 'Smack My Bitch Up' came out everyone in media land got very upset at the title and now I keep hearing it all the time as TV background music. And it still sounds great.

You know, I haven't given this a listen, but after this post, I'll have to get on it.

    Good song up there.

So strange the synchronicity. Took "Smack My Bitch Up" for a spin earlier. Must be something Prodigious in the air...

Jonh, I'll admit that the energy flags a bit toward the end but when they're on, it's audio adrenaline. Just the thing for another late night at work.

Video not available in the UK?!? Not racy enough, what the heck? There's not much to it, it's a live video with a little creepy black-haired girl walking through the crowd. On the positive side, it looks like the live show is every bit as stunning now as it was in '97. Maybe Coachella can do one more little addition ...

Truly amazing synchronicity Mike. Eek! ;)

Here Anna, I think this video will work for you, it's the same video for Omen. Creepy kid alert!

Thank you so much! I love that the girl looks so much like Wednesday from Addams Family :)

Anytime you can get a creepy little girl that looks like Wednesday Addams for your video, I think you have to do it, especially if everything else is technicolor. :)

Yep, we are having a little local difficulty...
