SQUEE!

Posted over 4 years ago
As defined by Urban Dictionary:A noise primarily made by an over-excited fangirl, however it has spread rapidly and is now widely spread among the web community. You may recall my "+post of affection+":http://mog.com/Dale/blog_post/116767 for the High Violets' latest album.Well, despite the avatar, I'm no fangirl, but I am quite excited to announce ...(clears throat)Not only is bassist "+Colin Sheridan+":http://mog.com/Colin_Sheridan a long-time MOGger, but vocalist "+Kaitlyn ni Donovan+":http://mog.com/Kaitlyn_ni_Donovan has joined this past week. She has been sharing her thoughts on the music that moves her, and isn't that what we want from artist MOGgers: interactivity about the music that moves them, as well as their own music? Yay!Go say Hi already, and say it along with me:

SQUEE!

  2. Anna says I want to say that I've e-known Colin for a bit, but that would be digging my own hole towards you... Oh wait. A warm welcome to Kaitlyn and a warm hey! to Colin! SQUEEEEEEEEE! PS Good thinking, bro!

  3. Dale says Tyler, I was unaware of Squee the cartoon character until I looked up the word in Google, and found his Wiki entry. Discoveries abound. Don't sweat it sis, I just trusted Colin shortly after my post. (adding a video to the post, it looks kinda naked otherwise)

  4. Dale says And is it just me, or is that the cutest video story you've seen in a while? It got a little bit dusty when the girl picked up the note and then hugged the boy.

  5. El Monko and Son says Yo home field, I think you bitin' my rap name, Squee G. Word, etc.!

  6. Mike the Knife says And, oddly enough, "Squee!" is the sound an evil mechanical man makes when the hero punches him into oblivion in the classic comic book series "Magnus: Robot Fighter." No joke.

  7. Mike the Knife says BTW, I'm high on the Violets, too...

  9. fistula spume says Oh ho ho Mike breakin out the Magnus: Robot Fighter! Most excellent. You wanna buy my issues? Dale for a second there I thought you were talking about Sue from Pottercast. She always says that when she's excited. Thanks for the heads up on new moggers Dale. I don't always have the time to scope em out. Thx!

  10. Kaitlyn ni Donovan says May I "Squee!" also at such a warm welcome? I have really enjoyed my new short while on MOG. It seems there are some real nice folks around here too! Colin is one of the nicest people I know. I 'm not just saying that because he is in The High V's. Thanks again! Kait

  12. Dale says My humble apologies, Squee G, I was going for giving you free advertising, really. By the way, you're still wearing my scalp; it's really unnerving! Wow, had no idea Mike, I'll check that next time I see a robot punched into bits. And aren't we all a bit high on the Violets? If not, give me time, muwahahaha. Ah, come on Les, with feeling now! Heh. Sam, I picked *SQUEE!* from Melissa, who chats on Neverwinter Nights forums and participates in much squeeage. Usually, I miss the new MOGgers as well, but when they come and trust me first, I can't help but take notice, especially when they have a name I recognize. Squee away, Kaitlyn; mutual squeeage is the best squeeage. So says I. I think you'll find that the MOG community is something really special on the internet. Passion for music and common courtesy, who knew?

  16. Torch says Ok Dale. I need a tie breaker. I dig Love is Blinding but am unconvinced with Cool Green. I need input!

  17. Dale says OK, their album tends more toward "Love Is Blinding", but try this on for size: Note: I feel totally comfortable posting these videos in the presence of two band members because *they* uploaded them to YouTube.
