Those who have read my post have often heard me lament the barren wasteland that is the concert situation here in the middle of fly-over country. However, an oasis of culture beckons: Lawrence, KS, home of the University of Kansas (Rock Chalk Jayhawk) and home to a couple of clubs that put on some good shows. Mock not, ye San Franciscans and New Yorkers, we have to work hard for our culture and good shows around here. In my case it's a 3-hour drive one way. I've not yet been able to talk myself into it, but by golly, I think I may have found the show to get me in the car and out to Lawrence:
Hopefully, nothing will happen to mess it up. I've even checked the schedule, and there are no activities to interfere. It's lock and load. WHEEEE! I haven't been to any concert in over two years. I cannot even wait!
