Seriously, has there ever been a more random interlude in the history of music video? Does anyone even get the point?I'm asking because I don't know.Beyond that, how cool is this song? Makes me want to peg my jeans and hop about in my loafers. WHEEEEE!

  1. Bartleby says Sorry, can't answer that question because I don't watch enough video. But such interlude can be found in many a song from the New Wave era, which favoured spoken parts such as this. Off the top of my head, I can't think of anything... Stupid brains of mine.

  2. Rawkkiddoh says I get the point Dale, best viewed in a club on big screens as you are dancing your buttox off to such a great song

  3. Dale says That's true, there are spoken-word pieces in pop music from that time (best example I can think of is Big Audio Dynamite II's song "Rush". The song itself doesn't have the part, though, just the video. It's ok, I'll still love the song even though I'll likely never understand that part of the video. Then again, maybe it's there so runes like me can say "wha?" when it pops up.

  4. Rawkkiddoh says I agree with that though, and was recently listening to Mute Math and they had the most random bit thrown into the song, still wondering what the heck. Its one thing to have that in a video, totally different when its on the actual album

  7. Lizziegreeneyes says & though it's not something you'd consider & rightly so Dale... It's quite trippy - however I can see it taking someone down a BAD path - Kev's right - I see it playing at a rave with a crazy insane remix & a bunch a kids with lollypasifiers, glowsticks & pink streaked hair... & *Kev* you best step off the _Math that dare not speak its name_... they are a new favorite of mine & I am diggin on that album... (side note: eat more fiber)

  8. HelenMarie says This brings back some good feelings!! That part, like you said, maybe just for a "what was that" effect. Art and others things can be such a simple idea that so many assume was well thought. I donno but still an awesome song...WHEEEEEE!
