PiL on American Bandstand

As my trusted MOGs may already know, my adoration for Public Image Ltd. burns with the heat of a thousand suns. I mean, who else would be so disgusted with the image of the 'rock star' that his band would have the name of a faceless entity? And who would care so little for the process of marketing that he would "go toe-to-toe with Tom Snyder":http://www.johnlydon.com/tom80.html in order to annoy the American public? And for the final piece de resistance, who would completely blow off any attempt to lip-synch on "American Bandstand":http://blogfiles.wfmu.org/KF/0510/Public_Image_Ltd_-_American_Bandstand_-_800517.mpg? This is positively the greatest single moment in American Bandstand history. I'm only disappointed I couldn't find it on youtube.com.
