Fun PiL fact: In 1992, shortly after getting married, my wife and I went to the 120 Minutes tour stop in Phoenix, AZ. I was there to see PiL, but my wife didn't like them; she wanted to see Big Audio Dynamite II. Anyway, we wormed out way to the front to see the opening bands (get this: Blind Melon, way before the bumblebee girl, and Live, way before lightning crashed), so we were all set, front and center, for PiL. So PiL starts playing, and my wife's bored to tears, so she actually yawns. John Lydon sees her, and starts messing with her while the band plays on. Soon, she's miming back, and they go back and forth like this for about a minute, to my absolute delight, and then ...HE MOONS US!!ARRGGHHH! SO WHITE AND PASTY!!! MY EYES, MY EYES!!Despite the pale whiteness, there were a bunch of little girls, no older than 15, screaming how much they wanted him. Bleech. Idiots.Needless to say, the highlight of our collective concert-going experience. And, by the way, BAD II were so bad, we left early to beat traffic.
